As a wedding photographer, one of the questions I get asked most often is “What sort of style are you?”.  This can be a difficult question to answer without pigeon-holing yourself, however my answer to this question is “Photojournalism”.  In essence, this means reportage (or candid) style.

Your wedding day is a story, and I feel it is my job to capture and document that story with each photo telling it’s part of the tale.  It is my aim to capture the real moments, details and emotions of the day as they unfold, without dictating or interfering with proceedings.

Whilst I’ll be delighted to arrange and shoot some guest arrival and group shots of the bridal party and family, I work in a hands-off manner.  I will not demand hours of your day or take you away from your guests for extended periods to try and mould you into unnatural poses.  Your wedding day is about the interactions between the two of you and your guests and your photographs should reflect this.
